Derek Fremd has been in the video and film production industry in South Florida for many years….as a producer, director, cameraman, and editor he has been responsible for hundreds of hours of broadcast programming and dozens of titles for the home DVD market. Some of the many programs he produced included eleven years of producing a weekly religious broadcast for The Church By the Sea, scores of beauty pageant segments and music videos over nearly two decades, four years of directing, shooting, and editing a charity golf classic broadcast for Comcast, numerous awards videos and dozens of guitar instructional videos. In 2003, Derek started Dreamcatcher Media as an independent videography and video editing company.

Dreamcatcher Media’s clients over the past decade+ have included Comcast NBC/Universal, NMMA, Warner Bros. Publications, Alfred Publishing Co., Cablevision, Florida Atlantic University, and Take Stock In Children. As a regular production contractor for Comcast NBC/Universal, Dreamcatcher Media shot and edited a myriad of Video-On-Demand programs ranging from news packages to historical documentaries to fashion shows to ghost investigations. Dreamcatcher Media has shot and edited many instructional videos for video-on-demand as well as numerous public service announcements, corporate videos, and awards videos.
